If I could rate this 100 stars, I would. My 3 year old LOVED it. Just to see the excitement on his face when we found the various rocks/gems was worth every penny. We purchased the 35 dollar bucket and were surprised with the quantity and size of the rocks and gems we mined. Highly recommend for a fun, affordable family activity. Especially if your little ones love rocks.

Oh man, this was SO fun! Even as an adult, it took me back to my childhood when I would nag my parents to take me hunting for those pretty rocks. Seeing my son experience it and enjoy his finds made it all the more worthwhile. The stones and crystals you'll find are nice, large chunks - they don't cheat the buckets by putting in tiny pieces. We got a HUGE bucket for $65 that was more than enough for me, my kiddo and my husband to hunt out goodies. They also identify everything for free, offer up some nice coupons, and have a nice indoor shop/small museum! Staff were all delightful and seem to like what they're doing. We will return!
