Shiva Lingam

The lingam is a phallic object that represents the Lord Shiva in Shaivism. In Hinduism, lingams are used in puja (worship) rituals and to invoke Lord Shiva's blessings. In this practice, the lingam represents Lord Shiva's phallus and its presence in an altar represents his ability to create life through sexual union.

The stone is shaped like an egg and polished for symbolic reasons. The egg represents both the female principle—as it usually stands for fertility, birth, and nurturing—and the male principle of creation (with its hard-shelled exterior protecting a soft interior)

Bringing the Balance of Yin and Yang Energy

Shiva Lingam can balance our emotional, mental and physical being by bringing balance to yin and yang energy in our aura. It's like a reset button on the body.

This crystal is also great at protecting us from electromagnetic smog—which is everywhere these days! Shiva lingam is used for meditation and warm baths to eliminate stress, repress anger and obtain inner peace.

How to Use Shiva Lingam

First, make sure that you have one of these on hand: - A quiet space where you can be alone and uninterrupted for a few minutes - A mat or towel to sit on (you may want to fold this up so that it's easy to carry) Next, find a comfortable position for your body—sitting cross-legged works well for many people, but it might not work for others. Try different positions until you find one that feels good for you. Now close your eyes and breathe deeply for several minutes. Let your body go soft and heavy with each breath in and out. Notice how relaxed this makes you feel! Take deep breaths and focus on getting into tune with your body and mind. Let go of any thoughts about what might happen if you fail or succeed—just let yourself be present in this moment and focus on connecting with the power within yourself.
